Tony Moran and Jason Walker Release New Music, “Say Yes”

Tony Moran and Jason Walker climbed all the way to #1 on Billboard this summer with their hands-in-the-air single, “So Happy.” Today, they’re out with their next single and music video for Fall, "Say Yes” directed by Karl Giant.

Kinkster NYC creator, Corey Wesley caught up with Jason to chat about music and learn more about his new track. Wesley loved his summer track, "So Happy" so he was thrilled to hear Tony and Jason were back with a new track.

Here is what he told Wesley, “Tony Moran approached me about doing another track right after we finished recording ‘So Happy,' our song that would climb all the way to #1,” recalls Jason Walker from his New York home. “What else could I do but ‘Say Yes?'”

At Kinkster NYC, we believe when you have a great thing going, keep it going, and continue creating mega-hits.

Music collaborations are like relationships; they either work, or they don't because like any relationship it requires a particular chemistry and by the sounds of "Say Yes," Tony and Jason are a force to be reckoned with.

Thanks to our friends at Project Publicity, we were able to chat with Tony about music and why he thinks Jason and him work so well together. “I asked Jason to record the single for us because that magical voice of his exudes power. He’s an incredible talent and someone that I truly believe represents the future of music.”

Moran and Walker re-enlisted videographer Karl Giant, the director of the “So Happy” video, for “Say Yes.” On “So Happy,” Giant whisked Jason to the Salt Flats in Utah. For “Say Yes,” he decided to film in the happiest place on earth - the place Walker calls home - New York City. The opening scene features a cameo of Tony Moran as Jason swipes the celebrity DJ’s gold star balloons.

“Karl had me carrying glittery gold balloons in the subway!” Walker laughs. “I don’t know how I made it out of there alive. And just when I thought we were done, Karl breaks the news to me that we’re moving the madness to Times Square. We certainly drew a lot of funny looks from tourists!”

“Say Yes” is the third time Giant and Walker have collaborated on a music video. Their music video for “I Can’t Get You Off My Mind” reached #1 on MTV LOGO’s “The Click List.”

If you haven't heard, "So Happy" visit Kinkster MAG. We loved it so much it was a feature music story.
